Knockando 12 Year is a single malt nestled in the heart of Speyside. Sporting a high, pleasant nose of honey, malty barley, freshly cut grass and warm hay, the palate opens with notes of dry peat, heather roots and damp earth, followed by sweet, gingery notes (perhaps a touch of rum?) before a long, spicy finish takes over with more ginger and malty notes.
