Santa Teresa 1796 is made from an expertly blended selection of Venezuelan rums, all between 8 and 12 years old, that are solera-aged at first, then further aged in bourbon barrels to impart a dark amber colour and intensely rich flavour. Buttery smooth, with notes of toffee, pineapple, caramel, molasses, and brown sugar, it’s an exquisite sipping rum that really gives you a chance to appreciate some fine ageing.
